Winery Filippo Grasso

A family-run estate that has worked the slopes of Etna for generations. The property is described by sources as a small-scale operation managed by the Grasso family, with a long-standing, direct connection to the Etna area and local viticulture.

Production focuses on simple, direct wines that aim to express the minerality and salinity of the volcanic soil. Native varieties are favored to convey the identity of the terroir in every bottle. The estate also cultivates olive trees and produces extra virgin olive oil.

Located in Contrada Calderara on the northern slope of Mount Etna, near the Nebrodi Mountains, the vineyards lie at around 650 metres above sea level on soils predominantly composed of volcanic rock.
