Winery Giorgio Meletti Cavallari

Giorgio Meletti Cavallari grew up in the Bolgheri area at the family estate and, after studying oenology and gaining various professional experience, established his own estate in the early 2000s. The winery is presented as a project that combines winemaking with family hospitality. Over time vineyards have been planted in several parcels, including the well-known Piastraia vineyard.

The estate prioritizes the expression of the Bolgheri terroir by using international grape varieties and local white varieties in targeted blends; the production practices listed on the technical sheets include controlled fermentations and aging in stainless steel and in barriques, depending on the wine.
