Winery history Haras de Pirque

The estate originated on a large property with roots in purebred horse breeding; the name pays homage to a haras founded in 1892. Over the years the property was developed for viticulture and, from the 2000s, the Antinori family progressively became involved in the project, eventually leading operations through Antinori Chile SpA. The first wine linked to the Antinori family's involvement is Albis, and subsequently the winery consolidated a production based on high-performing parcels in the Andean Maipo area.

Production philosophy

Focus on terroir-driven quality and sustainability: the winery emphasizes the expression of the Maipo Andes Valley terroir, practices organic viticulture in its designated vineyards, and uses winemaking processes designed to minimize environmental impact.

Terroir and vineyards

The estate is located in Pirque, in the eastern part of the Maipo Valley, at the foothills of the Andes, about 30 km south of Santiago. Some wines use grapes sourced from other selected areas, such as the Leyda Valley, for specific white wine expressions.
