Winery history I Saltari

I Saltari is a project born from the collaboration between Casa Vinicola Sartori and Cantina di Colognola, aimed at showcasing the microzones of the province of Verona. The name evokes the ancient "saltari", guardians of the vineyards, and the offering emerges from the meeting of the Sartori tradition and the vineyards of the eastern Valpolicella area.

Production philosophy

Showcase the territory and the distinctive qualities of the local microzones by working with local growers, prioritizing traditional expressions of Valpolicella to achieve wines with a recognizable territorial identity.

Terroir and vineyards

Production is located in the eastern part of Valpolicella, including the localities of Turano / San Pietro di Lavagno and the Mezzane valley. Vineyards are situated on terraced hills typical of the Amarone/Valpolicella appellation.
