Winery Il Teatro

Small-scale project established in the Monte Trebbio/Monte Violano area of Modigliana. Local sources report activity began between 2014 and 2015; the partners and founders named are Luca Monduzzi and Stefania Montanari. The estate has focused on enhancing old vines and has gradually added to its winemaking a small agriturismo with limited accommodation and tastings by appointment. Their Sangiovese "Violano" has received recognition from the Touring Club Italiano guide, as reported by the local press.

To showcase the Apennines through wines that convey the distinct character of the local vineyards: organic viticulture, vineyard practices aimed at safeguarding old vines, and winemaking that favors stainless steel and limits oenological interventions to express the identity of the place.

Colline di Modigliana, soils mainly arenaceous/sandy typical of the Romagna wine region; vineyards located on slopes above 350 m a.s.l, with parcels reaching up to about 450 m.
