Winery Champagne Jean-Bernard Bourgeois

The business traces its origins to the planting of the first vines by Irénée together with his son Jean‑Bernard in 1963 in Courmas, in the small Montagne de Reims. The family management continued over the years and, in 2006, the children Jérôme and Céline took over the estate, expanding the range of cuvées and taking part in national and international competitions.

Production focused on traditional Champagne methods: cultivation of the three grape varieties typical of the appellation and winemaking aimed at expressing the character of each vineyard. The estate favors an artisanal winemaking approach and a diverse range of cuvées to showcase the local terroir.

Estate and vineyards in Courmas, in the Petite Montagne de Reims. The estate’s vineyards are spread across the surrounding area. Soils are described as predominantly marl‑limestone with sandier areas.
