Winery history Champagne Lamiable

The Lamiable family has been rooted in Tours‑sur‑Marne for generations; the first vineyard parcels were planted by Pierre Lamiable in the early 1950s. In the 1970s Jean‑Pierre Lamiable consolidated the production of Champagne bottled under his own label. In the early 2000s the next generation took over and developed the family business, enhancing the crus of Tours‑sur‑Marne and expanding hospitality at the winery.

Production philosophy

Estate focused on respect for the terroir: vineyard management on Grand Cru parcels, cellar practices aimed at minimal intervention, use of reserve wines for blending, and extended ageing on the lees. In recent years the property has adopted recognized sustainability practices. It offers visits and wine tourism activities aimed at understanding the terroir and the techniques.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards located in Tours‑sur‑Marne in the Montagne de Reims massif; parcels are also situated near Bouzy and in the Premier Cru of Billy‑le‑Grand. The lieu‑dit Les Meslaines is one of the estate's historic crus.
