Winery Maison Labbé (Champagne Labbé & Fils)

The family business, originally agricultural, gradually evolved into Champagne production; the house states it has been crafting its own Champagnes as a Récoltant-Manipulant since 1975. Today production is carried out by family members, continuing a multigenerational tradition and showcasing the local parcels in the composition of the cuvées.

The estate emphasizes respect for the terroir and thoughtful viticultural practices: parcel-by-parcel vineyard management, attention to environmental sustainability, and practices close to biodynamic viticulture as reported by some importers. In the cellar, techniques that allow the terroir's minerality and freshness to come through are preferred.

The vineyards are distributed across the commune of Chamery and neighbouring communes, in the Montagne de Reims. The soils are described as having a calcareous-rich subsoil, with clay and sand at the surface; according to official sources, this combination imparts finesse and a fruity character to the wines.
