Winery history Mencaroni

Family-run winery now in its fourth generation: in recent years Federico Mencaroni has revitalized the estate, focusing part of the production on sparkling wines made from Verdicchio and creating a small underground cellar for aging.

Production philosophy

The production approach favors manual work in the vineyard and limits chemical interventions: hand harvesting, careful yield management, agronomic practices that respect the fruit, and controlled addition of sulfites. In the cellar, processes are employed to enhance the sensory characteristics of the terroir and the grapes.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards located in the hills surrounding Corinaldo in the Marche, with varying exposures and planted on silty-clay soils. The parcels are situated at approximately 200–250 metres above sea level, under the combined influence of the Adriatic Sea and the Apennines.
