Winery Cantine Giacomo Montresor

The estate is named after its founder, Giacomo Montresor, and, according to official information, began operations at the end of the 19th century. Throughout the 20th century the winery stood out for exporting Veronese wines and for producing aperitifs and sparkling wines in the 1950s and 1960s. In recent years the winery has promoted its history with the opening of the Museo del Vino, inaugurated as a project celebrating the company's historical journey.

Regional tradition and careful grape drying, together with an approach that blends innovation and hospitality: guided tours, tastings and museum visits are an integral part of the offering to communicate the connection between wine and the land.

Primarily the hills of Valpolicella and the area around Verona; the estate works with indigenous Valpolicella grape varieties and, for white wines, Turbiana/Trebbiano di Lugana grapes.
