Riunite & CIV Winery

In 1950 9 Social Wineries of the Province of Reggio Emilia joined, and thus Cantine Riunite was born, a cooperative, in 1961 other 4 Social Wineries in the province of Modena followed the same path, and founded the "Consorzio Interprovinciale Vini" (CIV).

The two companies, which grew up through the values of cooperation, decide to join together in a single consortium in order to be able to meet the great needs of the market in an ever more efficient way. So in September 2008 Cantine Riunite & Civ was founded, becoming the center of Lambrusco production and the second most important wine company in Italy. An important chapter was written in 2002, when Cantine Riunite bought Cantine Maschio, thus consolidating its position as a leading company in sparkling wines.

Cantine Riunite & Civ is one of the most important wineries in Italy, specializing in the production of Lambrusco, Pignoletto and Prosecco, distributed on the Italian and international market. The business model is based on a consolidated social base that includes about 1,500 winegrower members who cultivate 4,600 hectares of vineyards. The production system is designed to guarantee the quality and traceability of the product with eight winemaking centers and three production centers.

The headquarters with the administrative offices are in Campegine, where there is also a large production cellar and the winemaking areas, the other wineries and production plants are located in the DOCG, DOC and IGT areas of the provinces of Reggio Emilia, Modena and Treviso.
