Winery history Terrabusi

Terrabusi was officially established in 2011 and produced its first vintage in 2014. The vineyards used by the estate are, however, older—planted in the 1980s—and are located in the Brisighella district, an area historically associated with Sangiovese in Romagna.

Production philosophy

Low-intervention production, emphasis on expressing the terroir, and a gradual transition to organic practices to minimize interventions in the vineyard and winery and preserve local biodiversity.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards are located in the Brisighella area and comprise two distinct estates — Castellina and Ca Nova — with soils ranging from silty-sandy to marls and sandstones; proximity to the Lamone River and differences in exposure create distinct microclimates that influence the style of the wines.
