Winery history Vouni Panayia

Founded by the Kyriakides family as a regional, quality-focused project, Vouni Panayia is recognized as one of the island's first modern private wineries. Founder Andreas Kyriakides has promoted the use and preservation of indigenous Cypriot varieties, developing over time both commercial production and a collection of small experimental batches, alongside wine tourism activities.

Production philosophy

To preserve and enhance native Cypriot varieties by combining contemporary methods with traditional techniques, and to experiment in small batches to explore the expressiveness of the terroir and of individual grape varieties.

Terroir and vineyards

Located near the village of Pano Panagia, in the Vouni Panagias wine-growing area, the winery works with grapes grown at high altitude in the hinterland of Paphos, a mountainous area with elevations of approximately 800–900 metres.
