Winery Weingut Sturm

The estate is family-run: Christian Sturm leads the company and, since 2018, his son Felix has taken on active roles, bringing new ideas. The family values tradition and hands-on work in the vineyard, with local roots reflected in the official descriptions and on the pages dedicated to the family.

Terroir-driven production focused on expressing individual vineyard parcels; the winery emphasizes manual work in the vineyard and an artisanal approach to winemaking, with a strong focus on the area's typical grape varieties.

Vineyards are mainly located on the renowned hill "Bürgstadter Centgrafenberg" and in an outlying parcel at Dertingen, on varied soils ranging from sands/sandstones to Muschelkalk. The Main valley-floor climate favors good ripening.
