Winery history Zenato

The winery was founded as a project by Sergio Zenato in the San Benedetto di Lugana area. The Zenato family has progressively expanded its production presence across Lugana, Valpolicella and, more recently, Bolgheri. Today the family-run management continues with successive generations, who maintain the connection to the territory and the enhancement of local varieties.

Production philosophy

Development and protection of indigenous varieties combined with agricultural practices attentive to sustainability. The winery declares a commitment to biodiversity, pollinator protection initiatives and company sustainability programs. Production is focused on preserving territorial identity from grape to wine.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards and facilities are located on the southern shore of Lake Garda and in the hills of Valpolicella, with production sites also in Bolgheri. The Santa Cristina estate and the Costalunga estate are cited as reference areas; the winery’s address is Via San Benedetto 8, 37019 Peschiera del Garda. Different documents and official pages report varying figures for the total vineyard area, so the overall extent is not consolidated into a single value here.
