Barsol is a Peruvian pisco brand produced at Bodega San Isidro in the southern Ica Valley. Founded and relaunched by partners Diego Loret de Mola and Carlos Ferreyros, BarSol uses copper pot stills and fresh fermented wine made exclusively from pisquera grapes for the artisanal production of its pisco.
The BarSol brand was born from the revival of the historic Bodega San Isidro, a century-old distillery in the Ica Valley. Founders Diego Loret de Mola and Carlos Ferreyros acquired and restored the bodega in the early 2000s, reinstating traditional copper-still production and promoting the use of grapes grown in the southern Ica Valley. BarSol established itself on international markets with a range of piscos in both "puro" and "acholado" styles, as well as mosto verde, highlighting the grape varieties typical of Peruvian pisco.
