Distillation and production
Production method
Official communications indicate the use of malt spirit derived from cereals (particularly winter wheat), artesian/pure water, multiple filtration stages (for example filtration through quartz and silver-enriched charcoal) and a resting period (30–45 days depending on the expression) before market release.
Distillation
Produced from grain/malt spirit with declared distillation processes and multiple filtration stages (filtration on quartz, silver-enriched charcoal) followed by a resting period to harmonize the product.
Producer history Beluga
Beluga originated as a label linked to production at the Mariinsk Distillery in Siberia (brand origin). In 2022 the international rights to the brand (excluding Russia) were acquired by the Noblewood group; from 2023 Noblewood initiated international production and bottling of the brand at European sites, with group headquarters in Montenegro.
Production philosophy
The brand emphasizes craftsmanship, aesthetic bottle design and the pursuit of a clean, refined vodka taste; communications highlight filtration processes and extended resting periods to achieve smoothness and finesse.
Territory
Historical origin: Mariinsk (Siberia, Russia). Current international production/bottling: Montenegro (Noblewood Group) with sourcing from European production sites as indicated by the producer.
