Producer history Bobby Alfons

The story originates from the family tradition of Jacobus 'Bobby' Alfons, who emigrated from Naku (Ambon, Indonesia) to the Netherlands and was known for flavoring his jenever with a spice blend called Pinang Raci. His grandsons (Sebastiaan and David) rediscovered the family recipe in 2012 and, working with a distillery in Schiedam, developed the final product: after nearly two years of trials Bobby's Schiedam Dry Gin was launched on 12 February 2014. The range was later expanded with Bobby’s Jenever (2016), special editions such as Bobby’s 5 YRS (2019) and the relaunch of the Pinang Raci Spice Blend No.1 (2022).
