Maison Lecompte began as a family business dedicated to wines and spirits and, according to official information, traces its origins to 1923 with Alexandre Lecompte. In 1945 his son took over the business and, two years later, the house invested in its first repasse still to develop Calvados Pays d'Auge production. Over time the Maison has accumulated stocks of older distillates that are later blended and matured in its cellars.
