Casanova di Neri began as an agricultural estate in Montalcino: activity was started by Giovanni Neri in the 1970s with the purchase of Podere Casanova (foundation and initial developments from 1971). Over the years the estate developed into an internationally recognized wine producer; management remained family-run and the product range was expanded with specialties derived from its own grapes, including Grappa di Brunello.
