Gin Lane 1751 was created in partnership between distiller Charles Maxwell (Thames Distillers) and The Bloomsbury Club. The name is inspired by William Hogarth's historic engraving "Gin Lane" and by the Gin Act of 1751; the range was conceived to pay homage to classic gin styles with a Victorian character.

To rediscover classic gin styles with a contemporary approach: small-batch production, balance between juniper and aromatic botanicals in a declared "Victorian" style, and commitment to charitable projects linked to breast cancer research.
