Producer history Last Ward

The name refers to the Ward family, historically owners and managers of Mount Gay (Mount Gilboa) for more than a century. After a change of ownership of the distillery, Velier acquired some of the last cask stocks that had remained available to the Ward family and bottled them as special editions (e.g. Last Ward 2007, Last Ward 2009). These bottles were presented as rare special bottlings within the Habitation Velier range.
