Meletti

The Silvio Meletti company was started by Silvio Meletti in 1870 in Ascoli Piceno. The founder perfected a recipe for an anise liqueur based on his mother's artisanal preparations and by studying distillation texts; the original production methods and techniques are still maintained by the family, now in subsequent generations. Throughout its history the company participated in international exhibitions, earning mentions and medals, and developed the well-known Caffè Meletti in Piazza del Popolo.

Meletti focuses on continuity between tradition and quality: it preserves original historical recipes and methods (the 1870 Anisetta recipe) while integrating modern technologies for bottling and quality control, and emphasizing raw materials typical of the Marche region.
