Producer history Meukow
Meukow originated from the commercial activities of brothers Auguste-Christophe and Gustav Meukow, who were sent to France in the mid-19th century to select eaux-de-vie; the trading office was formally established on 1 August 1862. Ownership changed several times over the years; since the 1970s Meukow has been part of the Compagnie de Guyenne group. In 1993 the “Félin” bottle featuring the panther was introduced and became the brand's symbol. Today the maison is managed by the Coste family and distributed internationally.
