For the Mandarin expression manual peeling of the peels and cold infusion during the vapor phase are described. The process combines infusion/vapor infusion of botanicals with column distillation.

Distillation

Custom 500 L copper still named Mulan with alembic dome; column distillation with a vapor infusion chamber. Botanicals are simmered in the boiler overnight and the vapors pass through a 6-plate column before ultra-cooled condensation.
