Production based on jus de canne (very fresh cane juice) with fermentations in open vats; use of a double stainless‑steel column to obtain the characteristic 'Cœur de Chauffe' and subsequent aging in oak barrels for the aged expressions.

Distillation

Double stainless‑steel column with degassing, distillation, concentration and extraction functions (system used for the Cœur de Chauffe).

Ageing

Aging in oak barrels in tropical‑climate cellars; topping‑up practice and gradual reductions during the maturation period.

Producer history Reimonenq

Production at Bellevue (Sainte‑Rose, Guadeloupe) is linked to the Reimonenq family; the historic activity developed on an estate with sugarcane cultivation and, over time, was complemented by a museum dedicated to the history of rhum. The facility has undergone several renovations and modernizations of its equipment and celebrated its centenary in 2016.

Production philosophy

To valorize rhum agricole made from pure local cane juice, combining local tradition with modernization of the equipment to offer a range from powerful white rums to aged rhums.

Territory

Domaine Belle Vue, Sainte‑Rose, on the island of Basse‑Terre (Guadeloupe). Some cane is grown directly on the estate (about 20 ha) and the rest comes from local growers.
