Producer history Volcan dee mi Tierra

Founded in 2017, Volcán de mi Tierra is based in El Arenal, in the state of Jalisco, near the Volcán de Tequila. The project was born from the collaboration between the LVMH group (Moët Hennessy) and the Gallardo family; the historic estate La Gavilana is indicated as the brand's home. The production approach seeks to unite the characteristics of agaves from Altos and Valles: the piñas are cooked in masonry ovens and fermentation is carried out slowly in wooden vats. For aged expressions and for the Cristalino the spirit is finished and blended in casks sourced from the Old World and, in the case of the Cristalino, subjected to clarification/filtration processes to obtain the desired character without the color of aging.
