Aglianico del Vulture DOC - Synthesi - Paternoster 2021

The Aglianico del Vulture DOC by Paternoster, called Synthesi, is an authentic expression of the unique terroir of Vulture, in the heart of Basilicata. Made with Aglianico grapes from vineyards located on renowned volcanic soils, this wine expresses the minerality and structure typical of this historic grape variety. The aging method involves a carefully calibrated period in oak barrels, which gives the wine elegance and aromatic complexity without overwhelming its varietal identity.

In the glass, it shows an intense ruby red color, with aromas that evoke ripe wild berries, spicy notes, and a delicate scent of leather. On the palate, a well-balanced tannic texture emerges, accompanying a long, soft, and enveloping persistence. Ideal to pair with robust meat dishes, such as braised meats or roasts, but also capable of enhancing aged cheeses, Synthesi tells a story of tradition and passion in the glass.
