The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2018 from Cassa di Legno, produced by Tommasi, represents an excellence of the Venetian tradition, obtained from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes grown in the historic Classic area of Valpolicella. After a long natural drying of the grapes, which concentrates sugars and aromas, the fermentation takes place slowly, followed by aging in oak barrels that give structure and complexity.

In the glass, it presents a deep red color, almost impenetrable, accompanied by intense aromas of ripe fruit, cherry, plum, spicy notes, and light hints of vanilla and cocoa. On the palate, it is enveloping, warm, and harmonious, with soft tannins and a long, persistent finish. Ideal with red meats, braised dishes, and aged cheeses, it best expresses the richness and elegance of a unique terroir, symbolizing the passion and mastery of Tommasi in Amarone production.
