The Valpolicella Ripasso DOC by Bertani is a red wine that captures the essence of Veneto's winemaking tradition with a touch of modernity. With its deep ruby hue and garnet reflections, this wine offers a rich and complex olfactory bouquet, featuring prominent notes of mature red fruits such as cherries and plums, enhanced by spicy nuances of vanilla and black pepper, as well as elegant touches of tobacco and leather.

On the palate, the Valpolicella Ripasso DOC shows a round and well-balanced structure. The use of the "Ripasso" technique, which involves a second fermentation of the wine on the grape skins of Amarone, gives the wine a denser and more compact texture, intensifying the taste sensations and ensuring greater complexity and body. The acidity is well integrated with soft tannins, resulting in a persistent and pleasantly bitter finish.

This wine is produced using a traditional blend of Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes, carefully selected from vineyards located in the hills of Valpolicella. After fermentation, the wine matures in oak barrels of various sizes for about 12 months, followed by further bottle aging that refines its organoleptic qualities.

Perfect for pairing with hearty dishes such as roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses, the Valpolicella Ripasso DOC by Bertani promises to enrich every culinary experience, offering an unforgettable taste journey through one of Italy's most famous wine regions. Also suitable for medium-long aging, this wine will evolve beautifully over time, revealing new nuances of flavor.
