The Amarone Valpolicella DOCG Valpantena by Bertani is a vigorous and deep red wine that exemplifies the winemaking tradition of Valpolicella, an Italian wine region renowned for the quality and intensity of its wines. The DOCG fortification ensures that each bottle meets strict standards of production and quality, and the specific mention of "Valpantena" indicates a precise origin within the Valpolicella area, recognized for its unique conditions that favorably influence the growth of vines.

This Amarone is produced using a technique called "appassimento," where the manually selected grapes are left to dry for several months before fermentation, to concentrate sugars and aromas. The grape varieties used are the classic Amarone blend: Corvina, Rondinella, and other native varieties, which give the wine notable complexity and structure.

Visually, the wine has an intense garnet red color. The nose unfolds with aromas of ripe fruit such as plums and cherries, enriched by spicy notes of vanilla and chocolate, deriving from aging in wooden barriques. On the palate, the Bertani Amarone Valpolicella DOCG Valpantena is distinguished by its perfect balance between acidity and robust tannins, which blend with a long and pleasantly warm taste persistence, typical of the best Amarone.

Ideal as a meditation wine, it pairs beautifully with rich foods like roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses. A classic example of how elegance and power can coexist harmoniously in a glass of wine, the Amarone Valpolicella DOCG Valpantena by Bertani is an excellent choice for all lovers of intense and aromatic red wines.
