The Barbera d'Asti DOCG from Ca' Bianca, signed by the Assel winery, represents an enological excellence of Piedmont, a land known for rich and vibrant wines. Obtained from the Barbera grape variety, this designation guarantees a wine with a decisive character, good structure, and a perfect balance between acidity and softness. The production area, characterized by clay-limestone hills, gives the wine intense fruity notes intertwined with delicate spicy nuances.
The aging method supports the complexity of this Barbera: a passage in wooden barrels contributes to giving it softness and evolved aromas, without ever overpowering the unmistakable freshness. On the nose, scents of cherry, plum, and light notes of vanilla and black pepper are perceived. On the palate, it is enveloping, with well-present but velvety tannins, ideal to accompany red meat dishes, aged cheeses, and typical cured meats.
This Barbera d'Asti offers an elegant and authentic tasting experience, capable of telling the Piedmontese territory in every sip.
