Barolo DOCG Serralunga d'Alba Riserva - Fontanafredda is an enological gem crafted by one of the historic wineries of Piedmont. Coming from the prestigious subzone of Serralunga d'Alba, known for its clay-limestone soils that impart structure and longevity to the wine, this Barolo is made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, carefully selected. The aging takes place in oak barrels for a period exceeding the traditional three years, allowing the wine to express a complex and refined bouquet.
On the nose it presents intense aromas of withered rose, sweet spices, undergrowth, and light balsamic notes. On the palate, it offers a firm yet velvety tannic texture, accompanied by a balance between acidity and softness that promises long aging. Ideal with autumn dishes based on red meats, braised dishes, or aged cheeses, this Barolo embodies the tradition and excellence of the Serralunga territory, enhancing the typical character of the Nebbiolo grape.
