The Bas Armagnac VSOP of Castarède is born in the heart of the historic Gers region, in Occitania, famous for its centuries-old tradition in the production of quality distillates. Made with typical grapes from the area, mainly from varieties such as Folle Blanche, Baco, and Ugni Blanc, this Armagnac best expresses the authentic character of the terroir. The long aging in oak barrels gives the distillate a rich and layered aromatic complexity. On the nose, deep scents of dried fruit, vanilla, and delicate spices open up, while on the palate there is a balance between softness and persistence, with light floral notes that harmoniously blend with hints of toasted wood.

This VSOP expression is particularly appreciated for its versatility: ideal as a digestif to sip slowly, it perfectly accompanies desserts based on dark chocolate or dried fruit sweets, but it is also suitable for refined pairings in the kitchen, for example with rich sauces and aged cheeses. The Bas Armagnac Castarède represents a sensory journey into the most authentic tradition of Armagnac, a distillate that tells the story of the territory with elegance and character.
