The Bertone Magnum of Conte Vistarino is a wine that embodies the elegance and winemaking tradition of the Oltrepò Pavese area, known for its rich soils and climate favorable to viticulture. Made primarily from Pinot Noir grapes, this red stands out for its harmonious structure and olfactory complexity. The aging takes place in wooden barrels, which impart spicy notes and soft, well-integrated tannins to the wine. In the glass, it shows an intense ruby color, while the nose reveals aromas of ripe small red fruits, cherry, and a delicate hint of tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with a balance between freshness and persistence that makes it perfect paired with red meats, game, and aged cheeses. The Magnum version, with its slow evolution, further enhances the depth and longevity of this fine wine.
