Blason d'Aussières - Domaine d'Aussières is a red wine produced in the Languedoc region, in the south of France, by Domaine d'Aussières, an estate that is part of the property portfolio of the prestigious Château Lafite Rothschild winery. This wine represents the expression of the richness and diversity of the Languedoc terroir, a region known for its breathtaking landscapes and for the production of wines of character.

Domaine d'Aussières is committed to the cultivation of traditional grape varieties of the region, such as Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and Carignan, using environmentally friendly agricultural practices aimed at best expressing the peculiarities of each variety. Blason d'Aussières is typically a blend of these grapes, which combine their singular characteristics to create a balanced, complex and nuanced wine.

At sight, the Blason d'Aussières shows a deep ruby red color. On the nose, the wine offers a wide range of aromas, with notes of ripe red and black fruits, spices, aromatic herbs and a light touch of wood, due to the barrel aging. These aromas intertwine creating an inviting and complex olfactory profile.

In the mouth, the wine is structured but harmonious, with soft and well-integrated tannins that accompany a rich expression of fruit. The acidity is well balanced, supporting the freshness of the wine and leading to a long and pleasantly persistent finish, which leaves room for spicy and balsamic hints.

Ideal in combination with meat dishes, grills, stews and mature cheeses, the Blason d'Aussières - Domaine d'Aussières is a wine that stands out for its ability to combine the winemaking tradition of the Languedoc with the typical elegance and refinement of wines linked to the Rothschild family.
