The Brut Vintage of Pol Roger is an excellence of the Champagne region, a refined expression of a carefully selected vintage. Produced exclusively in the best years, this champagne is the result of a strict selection of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier grapes, grown in the most suitable terroirs of the region. The aging in the bottle takes place for a minimum period of five years, allowing the wine to develop complexity and structure without losing freshness and finesse.

In the glass, it presents a bright golden color and a very fine and persistent fizz, indicative of a high-quality perlage. On the nose, aromas of ripe fruit emerge, such as golden apple and pear, accompanied by delicate notes of bread crust, toasted hazelnuts, and a slight mineral nuance. The sip is elegant, balanced, with a pleasant creaminess that envelops the palate, finishing with a fresh acidity and a long, harmonious finish.

Perfect as a sophisticated aperitif, the Brut Vintage of Pol Roger pairs splendidly with refined fish dishes, such as grilled shellfish or high-quality sushi, and also goes well with delicate white meats or soft cheeses. A symbol of excellence and tradition in the heart of Champagne.

Winery history
Founded in 1849 by Pol Roger, the house moved to Épernay in the early 1850s and is still managed by the family's descendants. During the 20th century the house consolidated its reputation, forging a historic link with Winston Churchill and developing a network of estate vineyards complemented by supplies selected from Grands e Premiers Crus. In recent decades the house has renovated its cellars and refreshed its image while maintaining traditional winemaking practices and long cellar aging.
Production philosophy
Pol Roger focuses on stylistic consistency and grape quality: separate vinifications by cru and variety, predominant use of steel and concrete, extended time on the lees and traditional riddling. Grape selection favors high-quality crus to preserve elegance, structure and finesse.
Terroir and vineyards
Based in Épernay, it sources grapes from its own vineyards and from growers in the main Champagne areas, including Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs. The Maison uses grapes from selected Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites.
