Magnífica (often referred to as Magnífica de Faria) is a Brazilian producer of artisanal cachaça made at Fazenda do Anil in Vassouras (Rio de Janeiro). Family-run and focused on traditional production, the range spans young cachaças (bica do alambique/cristal) to aged expressions, solera reserves and single cask releases.

Distillation

Three-body copper discontinuous still (alambique triplo); artisanal distillation with early cuts and reinjection in the final phases to obtain the heart; spontaneous fermentation/local yeasts.

Ageing

Aging in large Ipê wooden casks for some expressions; solera reserve system (in use since 2002) for reserves; single cask expressions in oak barrels (including American and European oak) for limited releases.
