A red wine from Veneto ideal for those who taste the Carmenere variety for the first time, where the gentler aspects of the varietal stand out particularly, even if the tannin is overpowering. The vineyards are cultivated following biological criteria, the harvest is done manually and the bunches carefully selected. Maturation takes place in barriques for 12 months.

It shows off a typically purplish color to the eye. On the nose, the olfactory profile is refined and subtle, characterized by fruity and spicy scents, in which a peppery note stands out. The taste is fruity and fresh, sometimes delicate thanks to a vivid tannin well blended in the drink.

It is recommended to combine it with peasant pasta and beans, red meats and cheeses.

A unique Carmenère project in the Colli Berici under the Oratorio di San Lorenzo label. Expressions of volcanic soils in Soave Classico white wines. Restoration and enhancement of historic vineyards. Adoption of terroir-focused and regenerative viticulture practices. Casa della Vigna in the Colli Berici as a venue for activities and hospitality.
Winery history
The history of the Inama family is detailed on the official website. The family's presence in the world of wine is documented from the mid-20th century, with vineyard purchases on Monte Foscarino. In the 1990s the estate began bottling under labels such as Vulcaia and Vigneti di Foscarino. From the late 1990s it also developed red wine production in the Colli Berici, with a project dedicated to Carmenère that led to the creation of the Oratorio di San Lorenzo label. Over time the estate has acquired historic vineyards and opened the "Casa della Vigna" in the Colli Berici, expanding both its wine range and hospitality activities.
Production philosophy
The winery places the territory and the soil at the heart of its work: terroir guides decisions in the vineyard and in the cellar. It promotes ongoing technical improvement, regenerative viticulture practices, and an approach that values the distinctive qualities of the soils rather than the homogenization of grape varieties.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located in the Soave Classico area and in the Colli Berici; registered office and principal operations in the San Bonifacio area.
