Casamatta Bianco IGT by Bibi Graetz is born on the Tuscan hills, where the Florence area offers an ideal microclimate for both native and international grape varieties. This white wine expresses harmony and freshness thanks to a skillfully balanced blend, which enhances the aromatic characteristics of carefully selected grapes. The aging in steel preserves the purity of the fruit, while the structure invites easy drinking, with immediate elegance.

In the glass, it shows a bright straw yellow color, accompanied by intense aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits, and a delicate minerality. On the palate, it is balanced, with a pleasant acidity supporting the fruity notes and a light saline finish. Casamatta Bianco is perfect as an aperitif, but also pairs well with fish dishes, shellfish, and light Mediterranean cuisine preparations. A modern and engaging expression of the Tuscan territory.

Winery history
Bibi Graetz, with an artistic background, transformed his connection with the vineyards around the Castello di Vincigliata into a winemaking project launched at the turn of the millennium; the work developed through the restoration of old vineyards and collaboration with experienced winemakers in the early stages. His estate and wines have received international attention since their first years of production.
Production philosophy
Enhancing old vineyards and native grape varieties through low-intervention practices, spontaneous fermentations and traditional cellar techniques to showcase the terroir of each vineyard.
Terroir and vineyards
Estate and winery on the hills of Fiesole, with vineyards in several parcels between Florence and Siena; production of white wines from old vines on Isola del Giglio and harvest from historic parcels in areas such as Vincigliata, Lamole, Londa and nearby areas. Poor, sandy soils and soils rich in galestro characterize many parcels.
