The Bollinger Special Cuvée is a refined expression of AOC Champagne that perfectly embodies the style and philosophy of this historic winery founded in 1829. Known for its meticulous use of the highest quality grapes, Bollinger primarily uses Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier to create this special cuvée that reflects the unique terroir of the Champagne region.

The winemaking process includes the use of traditional methods that feature fermentation in oak barrels, a practice that adds extraordinary complexity to the bouquet. The result is a champagne with elegant effervescence and a balanced structure that caters to the most discerning palates.

Visually, the Special Cuvée presents a bright, inviting golden color. On the nose, it immediately reveals notes of ripe fruit, apple, pear, and hints of citrus, enriched by nuances of brioche and hazelnut that stem from prolonged maturation on the yeast.

On the palate, the Bollinger Special Cuvée is vigorous and full-bodied, with a lasting freshness that perfectly balances the creaminess of the sip. The fruit notes are confirmed and intertwine with nuances of toasted almond and vanilla, with a finesse of bubbles that lead to a long and satisfying aftertaste.

This champagne is ideal as an aperitif or to accompany festive meals, especially dishes based on fish, seafood, or even roasted poultry. A true gem for champagne lovers, the Bollinger Special Cuvée represents a classic choice that never disappoints, ideal for celebrating special moments or elevating a convivial gathering with elegance and style.

Winery history
Founded in 1829 in Aÿ, the Maison has remained in the same family for generations and has gained international renown, largely thanks to the stewardship of figures such as Élisabeth "Lily" Bollinger. Over the years Bollinger has gradually expanded its vineyards and cellars, preserving traditional practices and a strong identity rooted in family continuity and quality.
Production philosophy
Bollinger's style is based on emphasizing fruit expression, with a strong focus on Pinot Noir, extended lees aging, the use of reserve wines kept in magnums and winemaking in wooden barrels: principles intended to build complexity, structure and longevity.
Terroir and vineyards
The Maison farms vineyards in the heart of Champagne: areas such as Aÿ, Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs and Vallée de la Marne. Among the most celebrated parcels are the ungrafted clos, which supply the grapes for the cuvée Vieilles Vignes Françaises.
Awards and recognitions
It holds historic accolades, including a Royal Warrant awarded in the 19th century, and enjoys a wide international reputation for the quality of its cuvées.
