The Champagne Le Clos Des Goulots of M.G. Heucq is born in the renowned Champagne region, more precisely within the Clos des Goulots vineyard, an exclusive cru that imparts uniqueness and depth to this sparkling wine. Produced mainly with Pinot Meunier grapes, carefully cultivated according to traditions respectful of the territory, this champagne stands out for the finesse and elegance of its perlage.

The secondary fermentation takes place with the classic method, and the prolonged aging on lees provides aromatic complexity and a creamy texture. On the nose, notes of white flowers, white-fleshed fruit, and light mineral nuances that evoke the limestone terroir unfold. On the palate, it surprises with a perfect balance between freshness and sapidity, accompanied by a long and harmonious finish.

Perfect as an aperitif or paired with fish and shellfish dishes, this Champagne expresses in every sip the refined expression of its grape variety and its land of origin.

Calcareous terroir of Fleury-la-Rivière with marine fossils. Parcel-level vinifications and the combined use of stainless-steel tanks and tonneaux. M.G. HEUCQ brand, launched in 2019 by Guillaume and Mélody; family-run for four generations.
Winery history
Four generations of the Heucq family have worked the vineyards in Fleury-la-Rivière. Robert and Paulette expanded the family holding; in 1979 François and Véronique built a pressing center to become récoltant-manipulant and developed commercialization. In 2019 Guillaume and Mélody resumed operations on about 5 hectares, creating the M.G. HEUCQ label and introducing parcel-based vinification and the use of tonneaux.
Production philosophy
Family-run management of all stages — from vineyard to bottle — with a focus on grape quality, winemaking in both stainless steel and wood, low-impact practices and enhancement of the terroir through blends and single-parcel cuvées. The website also states that HVE certification is underway.
Terroir and vineyards
The parcels are located mainly in Fleury-la-Rivière, a limestone terroir formed 45 million years ago and rich in marine fossils. Soils are varied, and the average age of the vines is reported by the producer at around 35 years.
