Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC Caliz - Cortaccia is a wine that elegantly expresses the freshness and finesse of the grapes cultivated in the Alto Adige area, renowned for its alpine climate ideal for growing white grape varieties. This Chardonnay is characterized by a refined balance between vibrant acidity and aromatic complexity, achieved through careful fermentation and aging that enhances varietal purity. On the nose, it presents scents of ripe white fruit, such as golden apple and pear, accompanied by delicate floral notes and a slight hint of vanilla due to its passage in wooden barrels. On the palate, it is full and harmonious, with a pleasant persistence and a fresh, mineral finish. Ideal paired with fish dishes, shellfish, and white meats, it represents a modern and regional interpretation of Chardonnay from Alto Adige.
