The Chardonnay Langhe DOC by Ettore Germano is born in the heart of the Langhe, a region renowned for winemaking excellence in Piedmont. The vineyard, located on sunny hills, gives the grape an excellent exposure and an ideal microclimate for the development of intense and well-defined aromas. This Chardonnay stands out for its elegance and freshness, with careful aging that enhances the varietal characteristics without overpowering them. The olfactory profile releases floral and fruity notes, recalling hints of golden apple, peach, and a delicate buttery nuance. On the palate, it reveals good structure, balance, and a pleasant acidity that ensures freshness and longevity. Perfect with fish dishes, shellfish, or white meats, it is ideal to accompany moments of refined conviviality. A wine that expresses the typicality of the Langhe territory, a true tribute to the Chardonnay grape.

Winery history
The Germano family traces its winemaking roots back to 1856; Azienda Agricola Ettore Germano was formally established in the 1970s. Ettore Germano, a central figure in the family, steered wine production toward a more structured operation beginning in the 1950s–60s; his son Sergio, a trained oenologist, led the company’s further development: the first commercial bottles were released in 1988, in 1993 the estate began vinifying and bottling its entire production, and in subsequent years it expanded its vineyard holdings with acquisitions in the crus of Cerretta, Prapò, Lazzarito and, by family inheritance, a portion of Vignarionda.
Production philosophy
Passion, tradition and innovation: the estate pursues respect for the land and the enhancement of individual vineyards to produce wines characterized by elegance, typicity and recognizability of the cru.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Serralunga d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe hills, the estate farms vineyards in local sites such as Cerretta, Prapò, Lazzarito and Vignarionda, and also has vineyards in Alta Langa.
