The Chateau Chalon 1992 produced by Berthet-Bondet is an extraordinary wine from the Jura region in France, renowned for its unique winemaking method known as "sous voile". This method allows the wine to develop a characteristic aroma of nuts and candied fruit, making it particularly intriguing for lovers of complex and historically rich wines.

With an intense golden yellow color, the Chateau Chalon 1992 opens with penetrating aromas of dried fruit, honey, curry, and a slight note of withering. On the palate, the wine is exceptionally balanced, with a invigorating acidity that splendidly contrasts its richness and provides a persistent and very elegant finish.

Perfect for tasting now, it has the potential for further years of aging, which promise to evolve its already complex aromatic nuances. Ideal to pair with haute cuisine dishes such as foie gras, poultry in creamy sauce, or as a post-meal meditation.
