Chateau Trotanoy, one of the gems of Pomerol, offers a red wine that stands out for its exceptional structure and complexity. Coming from a region famous for its rich clay and gravel soils, Trotanoy benefits from an ideal microclimate that contributes to the optimal ripening of the Merlot grapes, predominant in this estate.

The wine presents itself with a deep, almost ink-like color, with reflections ranging from garnet to violet. On the nose, intense aromas of black fruit such as plums and blueberries manifest, complemented by nuances of chocolate, leather, and a slight mineral and earthy trace that marks its terroir.

On the palate, Chateau Trotanoy reveals itself to be extremely rich and full, with velvety tannins perfectly balanced with acidity. The fruit notes are persistent and evolve into a long, spicy finish, with a lingering aftertaste that recalls hints of tobacco and sweet spices.

This wine is ideal for accompanying roasted red meats, game dishes, and aged cheeses. A recommended period of aging in the cellar will further enhance its complexity and bouquet.
