The Chianti Classico DOCG of San Leonino, in the 375ml version, represents a perfect balance between tradition and finesse. Coming from the heart of Tuscany, this wine best expresses the hilly territory and the galestro-rich soil typical of Chianti Classico. The predominant grape variety is Sangiovese, which provides structure, elegance, and notes of ripe cherry, along with light spicy hints. The aging takes place in oak barrels, which gives depth to the bouquet and a enveloping softness to the palate. On the nose, intense red fruit aromas, hints of Mediterranean herbs, and a delicate floral note are revealed. On the palate, good freshness and gentle tannin emerge, well balanced by a pleasant persistence. Ideal with meat dishes, aged cheeses, and hearty first courses, this Chianti Classico is a versatile companion for moments of refined conviviality.
