The Chiaretto di Bardolino DOC Vignamatta by Cecilia Beretta is born on the gentle morainic hills overlooking Lake Garda, a unique terroir known for its freshness and minerality. This rosé is mainly made with Corvina grapes, the area's flagship variety, which provides elegance and structure, accompanied by Rondinella for liveliness and fruity aromas.

The vinification method involves a very short maceration on the skins, which gives the wine its characteristic bright pink color, while fermentation at controlled temperature preserves aromatic freshness. On the nose, notes of strawberry, cherry, and delicate floral nuances emerge, accompanied by a pleasant acidic streak.

On the palate, it reveals itself as harmonious, soft yet savory, with a balance that invites sipping in good company. Ideal with seafood appetizers, light white meats, or Mediterranean cuisine, this Chiaretto expresses the typicality and freshness of the Garda territory at its best.

Winery history
Originally conceived as a project of the Famiglia Pasqua in the early 1980s, Cecilia Beretta takes its name from the historic Villa Beretta in Mizzole. The label was created to showcase the traditional expressions of Valpolicella and Soave through targeted technical interventions and the input of oenologists such as Carlo Olivari and, in more recent years, Graziana Grassini.
Production philosophy
An approach that combines respect for the land with stylistic exploration: the revival of indigenous grape varieties, the enhancement of the local terroir, and the selective use of traditional techniques such as appassimento, alongside sustainability initiatives and the conversion of vineyards to organic farming.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the hilly amphitheatre of Valpolicella and in the hills of Soave. Soils are predominantly calcareous-clayey, with volcanic portions in the Soave area; average elevation 150–200 m.
