Discover the story and wines of Domaine Daniel Bouland.

Small Beaujolais domaine (Morgon/Corcelette) known for intense Gamay-based red wines, tied to individual lieux-dits and produced with a traditional, terroir-focused approach.
Region: Beaujolais
Country: France
Grapes: Gamay
Concentrated, terroir-driven wines from Morgon and other Beaujolais crus. Use of old vines and named parcels. Traditional, minimal-intervention approach in the cellar; aging preferably in foudre or stainless steel. Recognized by international critics and retailers for the quality and longevity of its cuvées.
Winery history
The domaine operates in the small hamlet of Corcelette, between Villié-Morgon and Chiroubles. The vineyards are family-owned and the operation is that of a small artisanal winery: the producer works many historic parcels in Morgon and other crus of the area, showcasing old vines and individual lieux-dits such as Corcelette, Bellevue and Pré-Jourdan.
Production philosophy
Terroir-driven winemaking: emphasis on vineyard parcels and old vines, minimal intervention in the cellar, sparing use of SO2 and ageing methods that favour foudres and stainless-steel tanks over new wood. The stated aim is to allow Gamay to express the vineyard's character without excessive manipulation.
Terroir and vineyards
Main locations: Corcelette with parcels named Cailloux and Sable; other vineyards include Bellevue, Pré-Jourdan, Les Delys, parcels in Chiroubles and a cuvée on the Côte de Brouilly. The estate is in Beaujolais, France.
