The Ciliegiolo Toscana IGT by Antonio Camillo is a wine that captures the essence of Tuscany, highlighting a native grape variety often considered secondary, but here the absolute protagonist. Cultivated in the gentle hills of the Tuscan territory, this Ciliegiolo reveals a fresh and vibrant character, with aromas that evoke ripe red cherries, currants, and delicate floral notes.

The aging, generally carried out in stainless steel to preserve freshness and varietal purity, allows the wine to maintain a natural balance between acidity and softness, with silky tannins that lightly and persistently envelop the palate. On the palate, fruity recalls and a pleasant minerality reflecting the terroir are perceived.

Perfect to accompany typical Tuscan cuisine dishes, such as white meats, vegetable soups, and rustic first courses, this Ciliegiolo represents an authentic and at the same time elegant proposal, capable of surprising with its finesse and genuineness.

Winery history
Antonio Camillo worked for many years in the vineyards of the Maremma, beginning his vineyard work in the early 1990s. In 2006 he began producing wines under his own name, selecting inland and hillside parcels in the Maremma to craft wines that express the local terroir.
Production philosophy
Artisanal work and respect for the land: old vines, limited vineyard interventions, spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, and a winemaking approach focused on minimal intervention to let the terroir express itself.
Terroir and vineyards
Production is rooted in the Tuscan Maremma, with vineyards spread across Pitigliano, Manciano and Capalbio; the operational base is at Località Pianetti di Montemerano, Manciano.
